Martyn’s name will always by synonymous with the company, having given 37 years dedicated service and having transformed the company into the Market Leader that is today.

Martyn joined the company in 1986 in a production role, before moving to Stores and onto Purchasing before being made Managing Director in 1998. Martyn then successfully led a Management Buy Out of the company from the Morgan family in 2003. This has led to the most successful period in the company’s history, with Morgan Marine earning a variety of awards and expanding its portfolio of products. Martyn’s financial acumen and entrepreneurial thinking in particular has ensured that the company has been well placed to develop new ideas and ensure the continued development of the company and its people.

 

During the past 9 months, Martyn has been working to transition to the new Management Team who completed their own Buy Out in September 2022, with the task of building on the foundations put in place to ensure that Morgan Marine remains the market leader in its field.

The company, its employees past and present would like to wish Martyn a Penblwydd Hapus as he moves into retirement and thank him for his tireless work which has made the company what it is today. Not bad for the boy from the small village of Rhos!
